Pocket: Stenbeck - Per Andersson (2002)
When Jan Stenbeck took command over the family business Kinnevik, it consisted of steel and wood, traditional Swedish service industries. He wanted to invest in mobile phones (which did not exist in reality), and on commercial television (which was forbidden).
Jan Stenbeck created a global, future-oriented group. Just like in the old mills, centered around a headstrong, powerful and hard-driving owner, surrounded by regal splendor of devout admiration from the faithful and of hatred and disgust from people he trampled on. He built on Kinnevik to the virtual mill.
